CKAThe Center for Knowledge Acceleration is building the next generation of the internet that captures the trillion hours we collectively spend worldwide trying to make sense of the web and leverages it to make people and algorithms more intelligent. We are building an internet stack that takes over where search leaves off: helping people stitch together the many perspectives and viewpoints from dozens of pages to build landscapes of information that help them make better, more personalized decisions. These tools also act as a new microscope into the way people structure information and make decisions in their minds, providing unparalleled data to build AI systems that can help people with similar needs and creating a virtuous cycle of accelerating knowledge acquisition.

We are supported by the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.
